Return and Refund Policy

Subject to the right of Purchasers to return goods for a refund under The Supply of Goods and Services Act and Distance Selling Regulations, Litho Supplies does not sell products on a trial basis. Customers are strongly recommended to check suitability and specifications of products before ordering.

 
Cancellations
 
UK customers have a legal right to cancel their order from the point of placing the order until 7 working days after the day the goods are received and receive a full refund. Please contact us first before returning any goods.

Please state your name, order reference and your postcode in any communication.
 
If you decide to cancel your order after the goods have been despatched you should take reasonable care of the goods when received and you will also be responsible for returning the goods to Litho Supplies (UK) Limited at your own risk and cost. We strongly recommend that you use an insured delivery method e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery. Except where goods are faulty, or incorrectly described on the website, all returns are subject to the following conditions:
 
•   If you have inspected the product, it must be returned complete with any included accessories in the original and undamaged packaging and not exhibiting any signs of wear or tear. Any use of the purchased item beyond that necessary to inspect the goods on delivery will invalidate your right to cancel the contract.
 
•   Software, memory cards, DVDs and other digital products supplied in sealed cartons can only be accepted for refund if still sealed. This policy is to avoid any potential breach of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988. Please note that all opened software is exempt from return under the terms of the Distance Selling Regulations unless it arrives damaged or is faulty.
 
•   Any free gifts supplied with the product must also be returned.
 
•   Items which are not normal stock lines and which have been specially ordered for the Purchaser are not refundable.
 
•   Where we are required to collect the goods on the Purchaser’s behalf, a deduction for the actual cost of the collection will be made from the refund.
 
•   Goods cancelled outside the 7 day period (but within 14 days of receipt) which cannot be re-sold as new may be subject to a restocking charge. Goods cannot be cancelled after this 14 day period.
 
 
Monies will be refunded within 30 days of the cancellation date. In the case of credit or debit cards, this wil be to the card used to make the purchase.
 
Purchasers resident outside the UK have up to 14 days to cancel their order, in writing by email, fax or letter, subject to the following conditions:
 
•   You will be responsible for returning the goods to Litho Supplies (UK) Limited at your own risk and cost.
 
•   If you have inspected the product, it must be returned complete with any included accessories in the original and undamaged packaging and not exhibiting any signs of wear or tear. If we deem this condition not to have been fulfilled, we may choose to apply a restocking charge.
 
•   Any refund made will be for the goods value only.
 
 
Faulty or incorrectly described goods
 
All goods sold by Litho Supplies (UK) Limited, with the exception of certain digital hardware and software products, are guaranteed to be free from defect and fit for purpose.
 
If the fault occurs within 30 days of delivery you will have the option of a refund or exchange. This does not cover faults caused by accident, neglect, misuse or normal wear and tear. It will help us to process your return if the goods are complete with the original packaging and supplied accessories.
 
If the fault occurs after 30 days but within 6 months of delivery you will be offered a repair, or in exceptional circumstances a full or partial refund or exchange.
 
If the fault occurs after 6 months but within 12 months  of delivery  we will offer a repair only. In all cases we reserve the right to inspect the product and verify the fault and, if no fault is found, return the goods to you.
 
No refund will be processed until the faulty goods have been received and inspected by ourselves.
 
Any refund due to a fault occuring within the first 6 months of purchase will include a refund of the delivery charge to customers within the UK. For these customers we will also collect, or pay for the costs of returning the goods to us, if within the period of 6 months from the invoice date. Outside this 6 month period you will be responsible for covering the costs of return to us. We strongly recommend that you use an insured delivery service such as Royal Mail Special Delivery.
 
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights, details of which are available from Consumer Direct or your local Citzens Advice Bureau.
 
Purchasers resident outside the UK will be responsible for returning the goods at their own risk and cost during any of the above periods. Other than that, the same criteria apply.
